iciHaiti - Agriculture : The coffee sector an opportunity for returnees

As part of the recovery plan of the Coffee sector within 5 years, 7,000 hectares of new coffee plantations will be established as well as 10,000 hectares of former plantation under 10 years regenerated.
Approximately 100,000 permanent jobs per year for farm workers (nurseries, establishment and conduct of plantations) can be created. "Investors Public and private on your marks, doing this misadventure an opportunity for the agricultural economy of the country," informed the National Institute of Haiti's Café, which emphasizes that the coffee industry is an open door for for the integration of farmers who will be repatriated or voluntarily return from the Dominican Republic.
