iciHaiti - Security : An UNDP team attacked on the road of Jérémie

An United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) team, on mission within the framework of the national project Urban Risk Reduction (RRU), en route to Jérémie, has been attacked on 22 June by unidentified individuals up to Duchity.

Thanks to the quick and professional response of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), UNDP officials were able to save their life and were able to return to their homes and families.

UNDP extends its sincere thanks to the High Command of the PNH and in particular the officers involved in the rescue operation of its staff while encouraging them to continue their good work.
