Thus, the CONATEL collected: almost 5 million from the Comcel (4,960,173.11 dollars), slightly more than 90 million from Digicel (90,378,922.50 dollars) and nearly 8 million from Natcom (7,767,888.36 dollars) Note that Digicel and Natcom must pay to CONATEL respectively 8,108,320.20 and 1,003,198.17 dollars. Recall that these levies, collected, in consultation with the telephony partners are intended to finance the Universal Schooling Program Free and Compulsory (PSUGO) for the most disadvantaged in Haiti. Note that these amounts do not include the fee of 1.50 US dollars levied on the incoming and outgoing transfers imposed by the Central Bank, under the FNE.
