As part of the reform work undertaken in the fields of development planning and of public finance, particularly in aspects related to the development of the Public Investment Programme (PIP), the Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation (MPCE) on Wednesday launched a series of workshops on the popularization of the "Manual of Procedures for the Management of Public Investment."

This document that was prepared with technical assistance from the US Treasury Department, is an indispensable tool for effective and efficient management of public investment and its use will allow all actors to streamline their spending on public investment .

Workshop schedule:

- From July 8 to 9, training session for the economic sector;

- From July 15 to 16, training session for the social sector;

- From July 22 to 23, training session for the benefit of the cultural sector;

- From July 29 to 30, training session for the political sector.

These workshops intended for executives of public institutions, will be hosted by executives of the Directorate of Public Investment (DIP) and of the Monitoring and Evaluation Directorate (DSE) of the MPCE.
