Wednesday morning in the popular neighborhood of La Saline, the Agronomist Tébert Oscar (39 years, Northwest native), Professor at the Faculty of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine (FAMV) of the State University of Haiti (UEH) and executive at the Ministry of Agriculture, was shot dead by unidentified individuals. The exact circumstances and reasons for the murder are not yet known.

Note that Tébert Oscar is the 6th Agronomist shot dead since the beginning of the year.
