iciHaiti - Politic : Extension of KONEKTE program

At the initiative of the program « KONesans E Konpetans TEknik » (KONEKTE), under the leadership of the US Agency for International Development (USAID), in collaboration with the Office of Management and Human Resources (OMRH), was held a two-day workshop. The objective was to discuss the guidelines and to develop the program KONEKTE work plan for the next two years due to the extension of the program scheduled to end October 29, 2015 and which has just been extended for 2 years until 29 October 2017 with a new component : strengthening institutional capacity.

Recall that KONEKTE is a program in support to the Haitian government, the NGO sector and even the private sector, the scope of intervention is of crucial importance in the implementation of the strategy of the US government. This is a multi-sectoral contract mechanism to reduce constraints on applicants, by making available to them, valuable local expertise and adequate material resources in the implementation of projects that necessitate the use of highly qualified human resources. https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-8577-haiti-reconstruction-konekte-new-support-program-of-usaid.html

This major program designed to assist beneficiaries, which is firmly committed in a logic of efficiency or of improvement of results, also aims to strengthen the capacities of partner institutions through a sustained process.
