On Monday, at a press conference, Ms. Shirley Augustin, General Coordinator of the National Observatory of Poverty and Social Exclusion (ONPES) explained the mission of the institution, that was to monitor poverty and to make suggestions to improve the situation of the society and stressed that ONPES faced a lack of information in the field, including data on poverty often wrong.
