Tuesday, as part of the commemoration of 100 years of the American occupation (28 July 1915 to 28 July 2015), Prime Minister Evans Paul delivered a message from the government to the Nation, in which he refers to the evils of the occupation. In his address, the Head of Government paid tribute to the memory of our illustrious freedom fighters and the release of including : Pierre Sully, Charlemagne Péralte, Benoît Batraville...

He called on the occasion of the commemoration, his countrymen to stand together for the welfare, progress and development of our country for safeguarding its sovereignty, its dignity.
