The Office of the Secretary of State (Gérald Oriol Jr.) for the Integration of Disabled Persons (BSEIPH), in partnership with "Palmis Mikwofinans Sosyal" an organization involved in microcredit, organized a training workshop for the benefit of some employees of this organization in order to sensitize them to disability issues in Haiti.

Furthermore, the Secretary of State Gérald Oriol Jr. paid a visit the day before the workshop, to a few disabled and elderly people of the zone of Canapé-vert. The BSEIPH, thanks to the support of the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) took the opportunity to distribute food kits to those disabled and elderly residents, who live in difficult socio-economic conditions.
