the border was closed in Pedernales, neighboring border town of Anse-à-Pitre.
Throughout the day, no one has been allowed to cross the border. With this decision, the Dominican authorities intended to facilitate the investigation around this theft in order to locate the perpetrators and recover the two assault rifles.
