iciHaïti - Politic - Towards a strengthening of Mexico-Haiti Relations

Haiti's ambassador to Mexico, Guy Lamothe said he aimed to intensify trade relations between Haiti and Mexico and this nation, whose trade increased from 12 million US dollars in 2002 to 68 millions to date.
He stressed that he was working to strengthen various sectors such as education, infrastructure and investments in general.
In addition, he recalled that in 3 years, Mexico had received 300 trainees from Haiti and hoped to extend this agreement for another three years.
