Saturday at the Kinam hotel of Petion-ville, Nesmy Manigat,, the Minister of National Education, chaired a working session of the National Curricular Reform Commission (CNRC) designed to validate for immediate application, 4 papers which were developed as part of the process of school reform.

In his speech, the Minister Manigat provided an update on a range of issues faced by the system and exposed the necessary solutions and discussed the major projects of the next academic year (2015-2016) including the generalization of the first year of secondary renovated and the dissemination of preschool programs.

While insisting on preschool, the fundamental, the secondary renovated, the digital and teacher training, the Minister acknowledges that there is "[...] a perception of the educational community, taht we have an education system very behind compared to the requirements of content and quality. Hence the need for this comprehensive reform of the sector," also he appealed to the responsibility and involvement of all stakeholders, so that this reform is a success and it brings the benefits that the country expects.
