iciHaiti - Health : Maternity insurance now available to OFATMA
Max Rudolph Saint-Albin, Director General of the Office of Accident Insurance of Labour, Sickness and Maternity (OFATMA) announced "We now offer 90 days of maternity leave to an employee whose 45 days paid by the company and the other half will be paid by the ONA and is available in ten departments of the country."

After health insurance launched last December and now available Max Rudolph Saint-Albin says his institution continues its path in order to provide more effective insurance and social security. Recall that unlike other known insurance plans, all workers have the same treatment without insurance classes based on wages. The contribution is fixed at 6% of salary (3% paid by the employer and 3% by the employee).
