iciHaiti - Social : Towards strengthening of bibliotaptap of the country 05/09/2015 11:08:45
The 6 animators 3 drivers logisticians of bibliotaptap of North, Centre and West shared their experiences and discussed best practices of operation. Participants identified the changes made by each institution in the management of BTT and their impacts in the last 7 months. It was also to take stock of the various achievements around bibliotaptap. The BTT of West managed by FOKAL and supported financially until October 2015 by the Digicel Foundation, presented its different activities on its 8 parking sites like : scenic readings, talks, storytelling animations and mask-making workshop especially during Carnival. The animators of BTT of Centre and ou North have furthermore highlighted small difficulties for the smooth running of their libraries which are mostly related to the functioning of public administration. Elizabeth Pierre Louis Augustin, the Director of the Foundation's programs, emphasized among others the importance of a good adaptation of BTT staff to the working conditions that are not always easy.
