Following the observations made in the various voting centers during the electoral day of 9 August, the General Inspectorate of the National Police of Haiti (IGPNH) informed that 43 police officers of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) were sanctioned among other for passivity, indifference, absence and breach of the rules in several voting center (33 in the North department and 10 in the Central Plateau).

These 43 police officers are liable to 1 to 3 months suspension without pay, said Marc Wilkens Jean, the Spokesman of IGPNH.
