At the initiative of Fresner Dorcin, the Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development in coordination with the Directeur General Charles, the executives of the ministry were invited this week to take part in the presentation session on the results of Micro Finance project for Agriculture (MFPA) led by Microfinanza firm with European funds.

With this project, which inherits the achievements of the Rehabilitation Programme and of Development (PDR), of Caisses populaires of Centre, Artibonite and Grand'Anse were able to adapt to provide financial support to farmers. The Ministry welcomed this initiative who deserves to be harmonized with other interventions on credit and agricultural insurance, to arrive at a national financial services system for agricultural producers and entrepreneurs.
