iciHaiti - Security : Ballistic training, against drug trafficking

Last week ended a technical and scientific police training focused on ballistics, organized by the internal security service of the Embassy of France, to the benefit of 6 investigators from the Office of Scientific and Technical Police (BPST) of the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ) Haitian.

This 5-day training, which took place within the framework of a cycle of actions devoted to the fight against drugs was co-hosted by the Interministerial Centre for Anti-Drug Training (CIFAD) of Martinique, the Central Service of judicial identity of Ecully and the Haitian National Police School (ENP).

Those responsible for this initiative, recall that although the consumption of narcotics in Haiti remains below the regional average, such training remain essential for better management of drug cases with use of firearms by the police of Haiti.
