Haiti - Social : Worrying situation of Haitian migrants in Brazil
The situation of Haitian migrants tends to deteriorate in recent days in Brazilian territory. They face particularly serious difficulties in terms of access to employment, infrastructure, hospitality and health. The capacity of shelters, mainly in the Brazilian capital becomes insufficient. According to official figures, the number of Haitian national came to settle in Brazil after the earthquake has risen from 35 to about 70,000.

Haitians face enormous difficulties to access the labor market and those who manage to find work, earn less than Brazilian for the same function. In some cases, some Haitian migrants make concealed employment without pay.
