iciHaiti - Social : Assistance for victims of Ravine Sèche

A government delegation, composed of Léon Ronsard Saint Cyr, Director General of Economic and Social Assistance Fun (FAES), of Ledor Louis, Director General of the Social Assistance Fund (CAS), of Gabrielle Hyacinthe, the the new Minister for Women's Affairs and the Secretary of State for social organization, Wilfrid Saint Juste, went to Ravine Sèche, a localities of Bois-Neuf (2nd communal section of the commune of Saint-Marc) in order to meet the victims of the recent flooding in the area.
The delegation conducted a meticulous visit of the entire area to see the damage and collected the grievances of the victims who complain in particular about the loss of livestock and most of their banana plantation. Following a meeting with residents of the area the delegation promised that the Government will provide social assistance to victims and will do everything in its power to find a solution to the problem of flooding...
