As part of the Local Transborder Development Project (LTDP) funded by the European Union, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) support the Mayor of Ouanaminthe to better administer its markets.

Recall that in this context, a Markets Management Unit (UGM) was created earlier this year and various actions to strengthen the capacity of municipal officials are ongoing.

To carry out the LTDP, an extensive survey of traders of the municipal market was initiated in order to identify them and better understand the dynamics of this environment.

The investigation started, after two days of training led by UNDP teams and awareness days of traders of market, accompanied by the Deputy Mayor of Ouanaminthe.

10 investigators participate in the collect of information, which should last several weeks.
