The Republic of China (Taiwan) donated to the Ministry of Public Health, two buses and a lot of orthopedic equipment valued at around 200,000 US dollars.

The two buses will be put to the service of staff of the institute of rehabilitation of the reference community hospital Gérard Léon of Bon Repos and orthopedic equipment will be directed to the hospital Our Lady of Perpetual Help, which is under construction.

Dr. Florence D. Guillaume, Minister of Health, thanked Peter Hwang, Ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in Haiti, for this donation that will help transport staff, and thus enable the institute of rehabilitation Gérard Léon to work at peak efficiency.
