Tuesday, at the National Palace the President Martelly decorate the French entrepreneur, Olivier Bottrie, founder of the Foundation Hand in Hand for Haiti (HiHH) "[...] On behalf of the Haitian people I thank Mr. Bottrie for its commitment to education and youth training. I am pleased to rise to the rank of Knight, a servant of Haiti," declared the President Martelly.

This new distinction reward the exceptional commitment of Mr. Bottrie within the Foundation Hand in Hand for Haiti, for the creation of the high school of excellence Jean Baptiste Point du Sable in Saint-Marc https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-11173-haiti-education-inauguration-of-the-lycee-jean-baptiste-pointe-du-sable-of-st-marc.html This high school offers to more 300 children, a free education and demanding in French, Creole and English.

Recall that in February, Patrick Nicoloso, Ambassador of France in Haiti, had promoted to the grade of Knight of the National Order of Merit, Olivier Bottrie on the proposal of the French Foreign Minister, Laurent Fabius.
