During violent storms that hit Friday, two people were killed after being struck by lightning in the Lower Artibonite. They are a child in Croix Périsse, 1st communal section of Estère and a man in Bocozelle, 5th communal section of St. Marc.

Heavy rains fell on the city of Saint Marc in the afternoon, in Labouere, 4th communal section of St. Marc gullies were raw.

In the evening torrential rains battered particularly in Dessalines, Desdunes, Petite Rivière de l'Artibonite, Grande Saline, Verettes, La Chapelle, St Marc and Estère.

Also it is reported to us that the roofs of various houses were damaged or blown away in Bocozelle.
