The Citizen Protection Office (OPC) in partnership with the Ministry of National Education launched for the 5th consecutive year, its "Citizenship education" program aiming to train a new generation of citizens respectful of the environment, of laws and fundamental values of human rights.

In his speech, Rénold Telfort, Director General of the Ministry of National Education stated that "School is a place of collective life where are learned the values of the Republic. This is for the student to know, to take ownership and to respect the common rules."

Recall that in previous editions 1,134 discussion sessions were conducted in schools by a group of animators in the promotion of human rights and 57,754 students have been affected by these conversations across 466 schools.
