Early in the morning of Friday, supporters of the band "Ti Manchèt" erected barricades on the main road of "Bwa panyòl" leading to the city of Savanette, forcing residents of "Kowòt", "Matepal" and of Kaledan", to walk several kilometers through the mountains to reach their destination...

Recall that since October 2 in the area of "Bwa panyòl" a situation of tension and insecurity prevailing daily. The protest was triggered by the band "Ti Manchèt", following the death, on October 1 of Wacquine, a man of 35, found charred after being stopped by a popular Surveillance Brigade, which aims to curb frequent acts of violence in the commune of Savanette.

The population of this border town, is very concerned by this situation, while there is only one police officer at the police station of the city, to ensure order and protection of a population of nearly 45,000 inhabitants...
