As part of a cycle of actions devoted to the fight against narcotic trafficking, the Security Service of the Embassy of France recently organized a training course on the theme of the fight against money laundering and seizure of criminal assets.

This training animated by the Director of the Interdepartmental Centre for Anti-Drug Training (CIFAD) of Martinique and a captain of the French police, was given for the benefit of 3 Haitian Magistrates, 6 members of the Central Financial Intelligence Unit (UCREF) and 9 investigators of the Central Directorate of the Haitian Judiciary Police.

This training that corresponds to a priority of the Haitian police allowed to address all aspects of the fight against money laundering and the seizure of criminal assets, including the texts of Haitian laws applicable in the matter, including that of November 2013 concerning the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing.
