Saturday, hundreds of young people 16 to 20 years took part in the race of the Emperor organized by the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC) as part of the commemoration of the 209th anniversary of the assassination of the father of the Haitian nation, the Emperor Jacques 1st.

From Pont Rouge to the Champ de Mars (Place Dessalines), youth traveled 10 kilometers and on the finish line Peterson Junior Jeune and Lourdemirna Gernier distinguished themselves respectively by arriving first of their masculine and feminine category.

During a parade at Kiosk Occide Jeanty, the two champions of the race of the Emperor, each received the keys of a brand new 4X4 Daihatsu Terios, that will be delivered by Minister Albert. Laptops, tablets and other bonuses rewarded the best in the ranking.
