Saturday ended the annual meeting of the Jesuit Network for Migrants, which was held at the Ouanaminthe office of the Jesuit Service for Migrants-Haiti (SJM-Haiti).

Of delegations came from various countries in the region including Brazil, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Mexico, among others, have met for four days to reflect on the theme "Focus on migratory flows in the Caribbean: new challenges, new opportunities".

This meeting was designed to assess the migratory situation in the Caribbean sub-region in order to identify prospects to guide actions to be undertaken during the next year. During this meeting, particular emphasis was placed on the Haitian-Dominican situation.

Note that the Jesuit Network for migrants, whose SJM-Haiti is a member, brings together the social works of Jesuits working with the most vulnerable migrants.
