Monday, November 9, 2015 at the El Rancho, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Haitiano-Panamanian (CCIHP) will join the Embassy of Panama during a gala evening to celebrate the 70 years of diplomatic and trade relations between Haiti and Panama. During the evening there will be the inauguration of the first Board of CCIHP.

Senior officials of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Panama, Pro Invest (Trade Promotion Agency Panamanian) and of the Colon Free Zone (Panama's economic zone) will be present to pay tribute to the years of cooperation between the two countries.

Through this initiative the Panamanian Government reaffirms its commitment to work together with Haiti, brother country through investment and structuring the commercial sector for the benefit of both nations.

Update :

The celebration of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and cooperation between Panama and Haiti and the inauguration of the Board Chamber is deferring to a later date because of temporary political troubles.
