iciHaiti - Culture : A tribute wall for Dany Laferrière in Montreal

As part of the series "The Montreal cultural builders" (Les bâtisseurs culturels montréalais) artist Gene Pendon chose to make a mural that represents Dany Laferrière who writes a novel sitting in the background the face of the writer. Gene Pendon said to have been inspired by the first novel of the author who has marked and gave him another perspective of race.
This work confirms that Dany is in the eyes of Quebecers a character who greatly influenced the culture of Montreal. For more information see the magazine Challenges of October 30 on page 42.
