Haiti - Politic : Towards the creation of a Press Museum...

Recall that in August 2012, Ady Jean Gardy, then Minister of Communications (2012-2013), had announced a project to create a Press Museum https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-6348-haiti-politic-council-of-government-details-of-announcements-in-various-sectors-iv.html .

Two years later, in October 2014, Ady Jean Gardy, former Minister of Communications and President of the Haitian Press Federation (FPH), had entered into a partnership agreement with the Urban University Seminary Board of Governors for the realization of its project Press Museum in Haiti.

Last week Anne Marguerite Auguste, President of the Union of journalists reporters (SJRH) announced in a press conference, the forthcoming creation of this museum, designed to allow the public to discover the history of the press, its equipment and keep the memory of major Haitian journalists.

The project is estimated at just over 370,000 US dollars and SJRH says relying on many supporters, to carry out this project of Museum.
