The project, initiated by the Ministry of Culture, to set up a social protection system in favor of Haitian artists, is gaining ground.

On Monday, Ms. Dithny Joan Raton, Minister of Culture, accompanied by his Director General, Jean Michel Lapin, gathered with among others Ariel Henry, the Minister of Social Affairs and Labour, Emmanuel Ménard, Director General of the National Old Age Insurance Office (ONA) and Max St Albin, Director General of the Office of Insurance Occupational Accidents, Illness and maternity (OFATMA)

It was mainly question of the formation of an intergovernmental Commission for the creation of a fund to support artists.
