Friday at Ciné Triomphe of Port-au-Prince, the Ministry of Culture met with technical and financial partners to decide on the creation of the Sectorial Group of Cultural Industries (GIC) that will be a entity of the large "Sectorial Group of Culture" (GSC).

The main goal of the GIC is to promote the development of a mechanism for consultation and exchange of information in order to better contribute to the improvement of the relevance, effectiveness and efficiency of actions for the Cultural Industries sector in Haiti, as part of the National Cultural Development Plan (PNDC).

Note that the "Sectorial Group of Culture" (GSC) will be composed of Sectoral Groups: Heritage-Cultural Industries, Education and cultural and artistic Gouvernance.
