iciHaiti - Agriculture : Inaugurations of several agricultural infrastructures

As part of a recent two-day tour in the Northwest, the agronomist Lyonel Valbrun, Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development, proceeded to the inauguration of several agricultural infrastructure projects including : 2 storage centers and grain processing respectively in acoma and Fond-Ramadou (Jean-Rabel), a dairy and chickens coupling units.

These projects were carried out through the Food Safety Enhancement Program in Haiti (PASAH) with technical support from the German Agro Action (AAA) and "Christain Aid" with funding from the European Union.

Furthermore, the Minister Valbrun met with several organizations involved in agricultural production and members of the Association of Workers and Haitian Women Merchants (ATFCH).

As part of the winter campaign (ongoing), he carried out a distribution of agricultural tools to farmers of that department.
