iciHaiti - Heritage : The National Bureau of Ethnology on mission in the North 16/12/2015 11:47:19
Erol Josué, General Director of the National Bureau of Ethnology (BNE) accompanied by member of his team Professor Jerry Michel, of Archeology Chief of Service Charite Joseph and of Section Chief in anthropology Harold Julsaint, went to Cap Haitien as part of a two-day exploratory mission that ended Sunday. The team of BNE took the opportunity to make an inventory of archaeological pieces that will soon be exhibited at the Ethnographic Museum of the Regional Directorate of BNE in the North. It also visited several tourist attractions and historic sites including : Puerto Real and "Anba salin" ; the Sans souci Palace in Milot; the sacred water in Sainte Suzanne and the former civilian prison of Cap, which is also the departmental office of the Ministry of Culture and will soon host the regional office of the BNE.
