Saturday, as usual, the First Lady, Sophia Martelly welcomed at the National Palace the senior citizens to celebrate Christmas. The First Lady said she was "happy to share this moment of joy and great feelings with some of the older of the community."
"I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, but I especially wish you health, because at that age at which you arrived, it is health that is most important, since you have health you will have the rest. I tell you, you the elders, you will always be in my heart, First Lady or not First Lady, First Lady or Sophia, I would always have you in my heart and I will always work for you. I love you very much," declared Sophia Martelly to the people of the third age who were sitting around a good meal for the occasion.
