At a graduation ceremony at the School of Brothers of the Sacred Heart (Carrefour), 946 new Community Health Agents Polyvalent (ASCP) sworn to come in reinforcements to the health system and received their diplomas from Dr. Florence D. Guillaume, Minister of Public Health.

For four months, these new agents were trained through a partnership including on issues of hygiene, sanitation, management of risks and disasters, human rights... in order to fulfill their mission which is to strengthen the first-level health institutions and to support education and promotion of the health of families, of the orientation and their accompaniment to health services.

This training was made possible thanks to partnerships with, among others: "Quality of Health Services for Haiti" (SSQH), the GHESKIO and Médecins du Monde Canada.

The new graduates, who will be deployed in the metropolitan have pledged to do everything possible to save lives and encourage people to take the path of health facilities.
