iciHaiti - Science : A Haitian researcher wins a prestigious Award in Mexico

Claude Saint-Thomas, a native of Les Cayes, young researcher in organic and macromolecular chemistry, chemistry graduate of the Higher School of the State University of Haiti and Scholar of the Mexican Government, from 2008 to 2014, has received from the Mexico Chemical Society the Award « Rafael Illescas Frisbie 2015 » for the best thesis at doctoral level, this prize was awarded by a jury of experts from different fields of chemistry of the largest universities of that country, after evaluating more than 20 best theses in chemistry throughout Mexico.

His thesis entitled "Synthesis of double agents of transfer RAFT / NMP to obtain multi-block copolymers and self-assembled nanoparticles", has been published in the most prestigious journals in macromolecular chemistry and international symposia.
