Haiti - Justice : Sheila Monsanto Bazile, Judge Model of the Year 2015
The International Action for Human Rights (AIDH-HAITI) declared Sheila Monsanto Bazile, deputy Government Commissioner of Port-au-Prince as Judge Model of the Year 2015.

The AIDH says this is a result of investigations carried out during the years 2014 - 2015 on the Substitutes Government Commissioners of Port-au-Prince, that the Judge Model of the Year 2015 was awarded to Judge Bazile "Among all those who played a leading role in the history of Parquet of Port-au-Prince, Me. Sheila Monsanto Bazile deserves a special place and a special distinction," says Atus Réginald, the coordinator of the AIDH, she's "undoubtedly one of the most appreciated Substitutes Commissioner of the Government by litigants and is rightly called 'Women and Children's Defender'."

After her Secondary studies, she headed at the Faculty of Law and Economic Sciences of Port-au-Prince where she received a degree in law. She also studied diplomacy and international relations, accounting, international finance, management of Non Governmental Organisations (NGOs), project planning... She is still a member of the Cabinet Me. Rigaud Duplan and of Bar of Port-au-Prince. Since 1986 to the present, she made professional experiences in more than ten national and international institutions including the Organization of American States (OAS).
