iciHaiti - Social : Launch of Dr. Louis G. Lamothe Foundation

Friday, January 15, 2016, the Dr. Louis G. Lamothe Foundation will be officially launched from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m at Cine Triomphe, Champ de Mars. This will be the opportunity honor and celebrate the life, work and memory of Dr. Louis G. Lamothe. A documentary about his life will be screened and signed copies of his books will be sold at 50 US dollars. The amount collected from the sale of the books will be donated to the Foundation in order to support its first social entrepreneurship project.

An "open day" which include an exhibition on the work of Dr. Louis G. Lamothe will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A light appetizer will be offered to closing.

Recall that the Dr Louis G Lamothe Foundation (LGLF) aims is to fight exclusion through social dialogue, by bringing citizens into community-based organisations where their voices can be heard, and by exposing them to the power of knowledge and social responsibility so that they can make a contribution to the dialogue and knowledge exchange and the social transformation of their own country.
