iciHaiti - FLASH : Death of a Haitian, arrest of Dominican soldiers

Following the incident that occurred Monday in the municipality of the province of Guayubín, Montecristi, which caused the death of a Haitian national Clerius Filemón, aged 33, and wounded another Lisime Jimmy, 25, (which is recovering to the hospital Padre Fantino OF Montecristi) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-16360-haiti-flash-a-haitian-killed-by-a-dominican-military-patrol.html Major General of the Dominican Armed Forces Joseph E. A press note from the Dominican army, indicates that in the context of the investigation which is open to determine the exact circumstances of the incident "All the soldiers involved in the incident were arrested and questioned by members of the Army Intelligence Department (G2)"

Major General Joseph E. Matos de la Cruz says in the note "We will not allow excesses of any kind. If it is determined during the investigation that they acted contrary to the rules, be assured that they will be handed to justice to answer for the facts."
