IciHaiti - Health : Zika virus, increased regional cooperation in public health
The proven presence of Zika virus in the French Departments of America and Haiti, confirms the need for increased regional cooperation in public health.
Two infectiologists and a micro-biologist, respectively from St. Martin, of Guadeloupe and Martinique this week conduct a mission to Haiti. They met with the officials of the National Laboratory of Public Health and of the Epidemiological Department of the Ministry of Health in order to define a support program for training, surveillance and research.
