iciHaiti - Diaspora : Encounters of Haitians of exception in Belgium
Friday, February 19 from 8pm to 10pm, 3 personalities of exception of Haitian origin, Dany Laferrière, Raoul Peck, Rodney Saint-Eloi invite you to a sales-signatures evening at La Maison du Livre de Saint-Gilles (Street de Rome 24, 1060 Saint-Gilles).

The writer Dany Laferrière, Academician and Prix Médicis in 2009 with his book "L'énigme du retour" will present his first title published since its entry to the French Academy "Tout ce qu'on ne dira pas, Mongo" published by Mémoire d'Encrier.

The author, director, screenwriter and film producer Raoul Peck will present "Monsieur le Ministre... Jusqu'au bout de la patience" published by Editions Velvet, work that he wrote shortly after his resignation as Minister of Culture in Haiti (18 month on position), reissued book and recently updated by the author in relation to the history of the past 25 years.

The poet, writer and editor Rodney Saint-Éloi was received in 2015 at the Académie des lettres du Québec. He founded the Éditions Mémoire d'encrier, a reference for a variety of literature. Rodney Saint-Éloi will present "Je suis la fille du baobab brûlé" a collection of poetry that blend voice, roads and identities and that is finalist at "Prix des libraires" of Quebec and Caribbean Carbet Prize in 2016.
