iciHaiti - Invitation : Celebration of the World Day of Scouting in Haiti

Sunday, as part of the commemoration of 100 years of Scouting in Haiti, the Committee of the Centenary of Scouting in Haiti invites you to the celebration of the World Day of Scouting.

Program :

10:00 a.m.: Religious celebration in the Cathedral of Port-au-Prince, during which 100 candles will be lit and carried in procession;

11:30 a.m. Scout parade, leaving from the Cathedral of Port-au-Prince to arrive at Place Henri Christophe. (Route : Street Dr. Aubry, street of the Réunion, street of Casernes, street Monseigneur Guilloux, street of the République, Champ de Mars).

12:45 p.m.: Balloon release as part of a symbolic message for a Haiti in Peace and a better world.

Note that several Scout delegations from America and Europe will take part in the commemoration.
