Tuesday, Florence D. Guillaume, the Minister of Health and Nesmy Manigat, the Minister of National Education announced the extension of the School Mobile Clinic program. As part of this expansion, the Minister Guillaume handed to the sanitary departmental directors of the North, the Grand'anse, Northeast and South, the keys to four new buses equipped to provide services: general consultations, clinical, visual control, hearing, measurements of height and weight, checking vaccinations, screening for learning disabilities, disabilities... Drugs are given free to children according to detected pathologies and if necessary the child is referred to other specialists.

Recall that this School Mobile Clinics program , with financial support from the Interamerican Development Bank, launched September 18, 2014 in the West Department https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-12506-haiti-health-success-of-school-mobile-clinics.html has reached more than 23,000 children in more than a hundred schools.
