The Principal Inspector, Garry Desrosiers, Deputy Spokesman of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) summarizing the results of operations by the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ) from 10 January to 19 February 2016 reported that during this period, the PNH had arrested 30 individuals and seized two vehicles, a motorcycle, two firearms and ammunition.

The individuals arrested are accused of various crimes, among others: vehicle theft, gang rape, homicide, trafficking and use of drugs, abduction and sequestration.
