Haiti - Social : The Haitian-Canadian selected for Miss Universe Canada 2016 28/02/2016 08:58:10
Naderge Baptist, 5'3 ", living in Montreal and grew up in Spring Valley, New York. Her father is Haitian American and her mother is Haitian Canadian. She returned in Montreal to receive higher education, she obtained her diploma in Social Science at Vanier College and continued at McGill University in political science and communications. She is striving to become a lawyer in International Relations and Human Rights, and diplomat, potentially working for the United Nations. School and education are highly important for her and must be sought after by all means necessary. She speak English, Haitian Creole, French, and beginners Mandarin Chinese and plan on learning many more languages. She has been participating in fashion shows since the age of 13 in middle school, and in high school she won the titles of Homecoming queen, Prom queen... She adores her Haitian culture and background, similarly, she admires Canada and the unique culture it possesses. SL/ iciHaiti
