Friday, as part of the extension of the collection of prices on agricultural markets, enrolled in the "Food Security Thematic Programme FSTP" the Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development, proceeded with the closing of the launching workshop of Livestock Market Information System (SIMBE).

The workshop was led by experts of the Agricultural Marketing Service of the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) and managers of the Agricultural Markets Information Service of the Sub-Structure Agricultural Statistics and Informatics (SSSAI).

The specific objectives of the workshop were: Forming the collection team on the methodology and collection tools; Train managers and supervisors of the SSSAI and of Agricultural Regional Directorates (DDA) for monitoring, evaluation, reporting and publication of information.
