A study by the consulting firm Henley & Partners and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) released the results of its investigation Visa Restrictions Index. It appears from this study that the country of the Americas with more travel restriction is Haiti. The Haitian Passport allows to visit only 48 countries in the world without visa. The Dominican Republic ranked before Haiti has not much to celebrate since the Dominican passport gives access to 54 countries in the world visa-free, while the Cuban passport allows to visit 59 countries.

According to this study the best passport and that of Germany, whose citizens can visit 177 countries without a visa. The worst passport and that of Afghanistan which allows to visit 25 countries.

Note that the US passport allows visa-free visits to 174 countries.
