This workshop was attended by employees of INFP and the Programme Coordination Unit (UCP), technical and financial partners, representatives of ministries and of vocational training sector.

The objective of this study commissioned by the INFP and financed by the IDB, is to assess the desirability and feasibility of establishing a financial instrument for Technical and Vocational Training Learning in Haiti, explained Mr. Ziegler, Consultant for the INFP.

In this sense, a bill was tabled in Parliament in order to guarantee the autonomy of the INFP. With financial support from the IDB, through the UCP. Another study on the establishment of the fund will be launched in order to deepen the concept of autonomy. Note that the IDB has invested in Haiti, 174 million US dollars in the area of vocational training and learning in recent years, through the Program Coordination Unit (UCP-IDB).
